On Saturday 13th April at 5.00pm at Scarborough Library Concert Hall, a lively discusion is promised. The line-up for the panel comprises Barry Forshaw, a leading expert on crime film and fiction (whose new book is British Crime Film), Mike Hodges, the director of the classic gangster film Get Carter, as well as The Terminal Man and Flash Gordon, and Peter Guttridge, regular festival host and crime writer. The panel will be discussing the influence of British society on British crime films as well as sharing some of their favourites with the audience.
